Ah, don't worry about it. Pointing out the thread can be interesting to some
people. In particular, if somebody wants to ask Al why he feels the code is
so bad.

As long as it remains a pointer rather than a discussion, then no biggy, in
my book. (we don't attempt to force discussion rules here, of course, but
we've actually been quite lucky to have a polite group of subscribers)
