XML parse error at line 7361: xmlParseEntityRef: expecting ';'

I am having a problem checking out files from my repository.
Using mod_dav_svn I get the following errors:

svn: Unknown resolver error
svn: could not fetch directory entries
svn: PROPFIND of
/svn/services/!svn/bc/20/current/Web/CE3/kenwood-ce3/images: XML parse
error at line 7361: xmlParseEntityRef: expecting ';'
.

But when checking out using the file:// notation it works.
Any ideas.
What kind of information would be helpfull tracking down the problem.

svn --version returns:
