I also tried changing to that directory, but got the same error.

svnlook: subversion/libsvn_subr/path.c:164: svn_path_join: Assertion
`is_canonical_nts (base, blen)' failed.
Aborted

Anyway, removing the trailing slash from the full path works for me.
