I have 730 hidden on C: and my data disk has 99. I have Windows/XP Pro.
try attrib |findstr "^....H"

> .foo is a common and well understood paradigm in the Unix world.

Thats the power of Unix over Windows. Well understood semantics
implemented the same way.
