SVN Logo Contest <-> icons, some thoughs

Hi everybody!

I have seen the logos and they look great. I don't like to make someone
sad but have all of you considered this:

  * How do they look as icons?
    - Will it look ok as a 16x16 toolbutton from a menu, desktop
      or inside another apps toolbutton?
    - Will it look good when adapted as Windows, KDE and GNOME icons?
  * In general, a good logo should be recogniced, not read. When you
    see a friend, you don't read who it is (studying the left ear,
    left eye, the nose and so on) and concludes who it is. You just
    see who it is.
  * What about colors, do it look nice in 16 color and fab in high
    colors?

Some of the submitted Logos meets the criterias above and some do not. I
hope that no one are beeing sad because I wrote this, this is just some
thougs.

I wish everyone who makes Logos the best.
