RedHat zlib & svn compression

I noticed that on my patched RedHat 7.3 box that neon wasn't being
compiled with zlib support in the svn client due to zlib being a
patched version of 1.1.3 that handled the recent zlib security
issue. neon's configure however checks for zlib 1.1.4 or above.

I'm guessing this applies to older RedHat's, because even for
RedHat 7.2, the update site only has patched versions of 1.1.3.

If you want compression between your svn client and the svn server,
I'd recommend getting zlib-1.1.4-4.i386.rpm and zlib-devel-1.1.4-4.i386.rpm
from RedHat Rawhide

ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/rawhide/i386/RedHat/RPMS/

upgrading your RedHat box and re-configuring and recompiling your
svn.

This saved me half the bandwidth and checkout time for remote
repositories.
