Did you want me to take care of this last one?  I was planning to do
it anyway, as we were talking about at the office, though if you have
your heart set on it I won't stand in your way.
Aside from the (presumed) wc corruption bug, I'm also working on case
canonicalization and path canonicalization, for the rest of issue
#494.  It's mostly done; but now on hold during wc explorations :-).
