This is the patch I sent to the mailing list earlier today. I'll
continue fixing it up, but this just gets something in. (It should
not break anything by having it in and not really working.)
BTW, how do I tell build.conf to install this? We don't need a make
target for this - we just need to copy it over (install-bin would
seem like the right target). I took a quick look at the build and I
couldn't figure out how to add it cleanly. -- justin
