minor Issue in regression tests?

The regression tests just fired up my editor with:

 SVN: ---------------------------------------------------------------------
 SVN: Enter Log. Lines beginning with 'SVN:' are removed automatically
 SVN:
 SVN: Current status of the target files and directories:
 SVN:
 SVN: D /m/tmp/svn/build/svn-build/subversion/tests/clients/cmdline/working_copies/update_tests-7/A/B/E/alpha
 SVN: D /m/tmp/svn/build/svn-build/subversion/tests/clients/cmdline/working_copies/update_tests-7/A/D/G

From that point the tests hang, even if I quit the editor.
The hang command is "lt-svn ci working_copies/update_tests-7".
If I kill it, update_tests.py FAIL and the tests go ahead.
The test diagnostics are:

 At least one test FAILED, checking /m/tmp/svn/build/svn-build/tests.log
 FAIL: update_tests.py 7: update that deletes modifed files

This is with r2172. Anyone else seen this?
