RE: GUI clients status

Using two languages, Visual C++ (i.e. C++ + MFC) for GUI parts, ANSI/C for
everything that can, within reason, be called 'generic' (eg. the
DFA/scantable based regexp lib for hilighting rules, and line-based
document modifications to name a few, but more will definitely follow as I
happily muck along with the code).

Well, I think the risk is that it's GPL. Not sure how that works in a
subversion environment. (Could we have a GUI client that's GPL'ed?
'licensally' speaking? -- I'm sure we can't have a GPL 'inspired' version,
right? (it's why I stayed Well clear from the sourcecode! "I kno'
nuttin!")

You suppose correctly - I'll dump it on boekhorst.net once I get to the
point where it merges. I think the time I do have right now is better
spent on code rather than premature vaporware publicity.
Cheers, Martijn Boekhorst.
