Erp! I meant that as a vote only, should have written "-1, no veto".
I don't want to tie cmike's hands. Have already given my reasons for
preferring `const char *' in memory, if outvoted by the other
committers, that's fine. In case of tie, let cmike choose, he's doing
the coding :-).
