Features and release dates

Hi,

I just saw that the feature list for version 1.0 has been changed on the
project page.

I have been hoping for some time now that the company that I work for will
switch over to SubVersion in the not to distant future. We currently use
CVS.

Now, when I read that 1.0 will probably not include annotate and module
support, the most obvious question is, how much longer will it take to
finish the version with annotate and module support?

Another thing that I would like to ask is if something important in the
database will change between 1.0 and x.x when modules are supported? Is it
safe for a company to start using SubVersion at version 1.0?

In SubVersion 1.0, will it be possible to emulate CVS modules?

Will SubVersion 1.0 be able to convert a CVS repository on its release
date?
