M10 short-term plans

Karl is in Poland for a week, and we've decided to put 'svn merge'
(and related diff3 work) on hold until he gets back.

Next week, cmpilato and I are going to be working instead on a new M10
milestone that we'll release on Monday the 4th. This milestone is
focusing on "fixing problems that frustrate or scare new users." Or,
in gstein's words, "usability, reliability, and performance." A lot
of new folks are starting to play with Subversion, and we want to
address problems they're discovering.

Here's our task list:

   * cmpilato is working on making libsvn_fs "streamily" write to DB.

   * I'm working on improving error messages that the user sees.

   * gstein is going to check in the new Alternative editor interface
     prototype. When that's done:

       * write a translator-editor that allows a driver to drive a
'new' editor using the 'old' style

       * rewrite some specially-targeted editors to use the new style.

       * possibly clean up the pool usage of existing editors.

   * if time permits, address some build/configuration issues.

Of course, we know other volunteers are working tasks too (Brane --
delta combiner, Ben Collins -- svn log?).

As our status page says, all praise the Conquering Developer Hordes.

-Ben
