"non-verbose" ?

+1 -- I agree that "locked" *is* an interesting thing to see. It shouldn't
happen, so it should be presented to the user for cleanup. Heck, if there is
a locked directory, then they may not be able to commit/update. The status
oughto tell them that :-)
