Subversion 0.9 release candidate 2 bootstraps on Solaris 8

From: Gautam Guliani <gautamg_at_grassroots-tech.com>

I have successfully bootstrapped Subversion 0.9 release candidate 2
downloaded from
<http://subversion.tigris.org/servlets/ProjectDownloadList?action=download&dlID=193&JServSessionIdservlets=whon7frd91>

on Solaris 8, sparc
(uname -a says SunOS red1 5.8 Generic_108528-08 sun4u sparc SUNW,UltraAX-i2 )

Further I was able to checkout the svn tree successfully.

Note: The configure step complained about not seeing GNU diff, so I had to
install it.
This may be a small issue for bare bones Solaris systems.

I have a copy of config.log for successful configure in case it's needed.
(first few lines of the config.log included below)

Keep up the good work guys. Can't wait to live in the post CVS world! ;-)

Cheers,
Gautam

It was created by configure, which was
generated by GNU Autoconf 2.52. Invocation command line was
