Okay, I can see we're going to be rolling a new tarball tomorrow, and
doing a lot of testing. :-)

If the recent configure/build/makecheck problems are not an anamoly,
then the importance of getting more automated nightly (or hourly!)
testing is getting higher. I wonder how many people have clean boxes
on the Net that they wouldn't mind someone setting this up on?..
