Wow, poor Larry, that had to hurt :-)

It is interesting to note that Josh also recommends the use of BDB. One of
those particular benefits is that writing out a delta is O(D), unlike RCS
(and weave?) which is O(A). Nice to know that we've got that leg up
already... :-)

With some of the funny business about storing periodic fulltexts, skip lists
for deltas, etc, I believe we have some of the basic structure available to
have some excellent performance.
