Only the last part. The rest is still true. SVN clients /are/ smart
clients. They just don't do /all/ of the work.

Side effect of this newsgroup. If someone submits a patch, somebody else
has(?) to give it a +1 before it will be merged into the main trunk, for
quality control. Equally, you can also -1 something you think is a bad idea.
Democratic sourcecode development. I don't understand all of the rules yet,
because I'm a recent newcomer, but that's what I've seen so far.
