btw, WebDAV was designed to use new HTTP methods rather than "tunnel through
POST" specifically for assisting with firewall policies. The firewall can
let OPTIONS, HEAD, GET, and POST through, but block stuff like PROPFIND,
MKACTIVITY, etc. Basically, the person setting the policy can use the method
as a key in the policy lookup.
