Sheer, bloody-minded caution. :-)

I typoed the first 'svn mv', then thought it safer to commit before
fixing my typo. Yes, of course it /should/ work, and I'm sure it does,
but I didn't want to try experiments in the master repository, as I'm
sure you appreciate.

(O.K., so now we don't get the complete build system change in a single
commit. Bad practice, and I'll surely forbid it in any project of mine
that uses Subversion. :-)
