[external-all] Error 1

Hello,

I try to compile subversion-r727 with BDB 4.0.14 in subdir named db on RH
6.2, but #make shows this error:

/usr/bin/ld:mut_tas.lo: file format not recognized; treating as linker
script
/usr/bin/ld:mut_tas.lo:2: parse error
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [libdb-4.0.la] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/httpd/html/instal/subversion-r727/db/dist'
make: *** [external-all] Error 1
