ISTR that the APR configuration had a macro that was called
SVN_SEARCH_APR that loaded the config definitions. I just
followed that convention. SVN_NEON_CONFIG might indeed be
better.

Off to see what is going on with the apr src dir. It looks
like the build system isn't relativizing libapr.la
properly. -- justin
