You're absolutely right. I don't know the lingo for "walk the remote
repository hierarchy an entry at a time".

No, I misinterpreted what you meant when you said
        "* for each change, display that change"

You meant "the cummulative changes between r1 and r2". I interpreted
that as "the individual deltas".

I like your idea much better now that I understand it. :-)
