Okay, so revision 587 is posted as a tarball. And, after about 5
hours of fighting with Apache and Berkeley and such, I've come up with
the following pieces of Ick:
- I had to end up reverting httpd-2.0, apr, and apr-util to their
November 24 states because some new stuff in apr-util seems to
cause major, major breakdown in the database arena. When using the
HEAD, apr-util's configure decides to use GDBM, and this causes
serious illnesses, namely that httpd-2.0 was linking with
db-3.1.17, and despite the fact that mod_dav_svn was linking with
db-3.3.11, we still had no database access via DAV.
- I believe there is still a problem with the --enable-shared install
process, in that libtool won't install libsvn_ra and
libsvn_ra_local for me on svn.collab.net. Not sure the cause of
this...perhaps related to Karl (and Greg's) changes of the other
day?
I unfortunately don't have the time or patience to work on this right
now. In fact, I'm sending this mail from the back of a squad car --
my chauffeurs to tonight's sleeping arrangments after tossing
svn.collab.net from my 10th-story office window. Yeah, I'm being
silly, but that's just a facade...
