Hi, all. Normally wouldn't trouble the list with my medical problems,
but I thought some explanation due as to why there are no commits and
very few emails from me recently.
Simply: I had elective eye surgery, it went mildly badly, and my right
eye will vary from useless (now) to somewhat useful (later) over the
next N weeks (where N could be anywhere from 1 to 6, we don't know yet
how quickly it will heal). In the long term, it is expected to heal
perfectly; that's the norm in these cases.
The practical result of this is that I read very slowly now, and can't
spend too much time at a computer terminal without a rest. So there
won't be many responses to list mails from me, nor many commits, for a
while. Apologies for whatever development slowdown this may cause
(not much, I'll bet -- noticed that the progress rate seemed to go
*up* when I took a two week vacation recently, heh... hmmm... :-) ).
I'll try to do as much as I can; in the meantime, please refrain from
saying all those nasty things about me on the list. Remember, I
*will* go back and read all those mails later. <grin>
