How can we automatically generate

   - info pages
   - printed documentation with TOC and in-text cross references
   - plaintext files

from HTML masters?

I'm responding somewhat blindly here, as I'm not sure where this
thread started and only have Alan's message to refer to. We're not
currently using TeX or LaTeX as the doc source format, we're using
Texinfo.
