Not to worry, I'll test on Solaris, HP-UX and AIX. If it passes all
three, there's probably not a make in existence that'd break.

I'm trying to remember how many times I'd written such a script before
... Once per project, I guess. :-) I'm sure I have a perl version lying
around somewhere, yell if you'd like to see it.
