Milestone 2

As some of you probably already noticed, Milestone 2 has been reached
(the tag is `milestone-2'). It means we have the basic operations
working over the network now: import, checkout, commit, update, and
various random commands.

I was going to mention some people who deserved special recognition,
but as I was browsing over the ChangeLog to check my memory, I began
to see just how much M2 is the result of many, many people's hard
work, even more so than M1.

So check the logs if you want to know who did what. :-)

In the meantime, let's get cracking on M3, self-hosting!
