I think the VA Linux and Red Hat repositories are deep in different
ways --- Red Hat has a lot of files with a lot of revisions in them,
whereas VA Linux has an enormous number of pretty shallow files.

The Red Hat Engineering Services (nee Cygnus) `devo' tree, for active
development, is 6.6Gb, and has history going back to 1991.
