Clearly, there is a whole range of strategies one could pursue here.
Whether smart caches have enough of an advantage over dumb caches to
justify the complexity and effort of installation and maintenance is
an open question. I think it's worth trying.

But Bryan is right, of course --- not until after 1.0.
