Yeah, this is a misunderstanding that's happened once or twice before
to people glancing over the archives. Because Subversion implements a
"versioning filesystem" interface internally, on this dev list we
often just call it "the filesystem" for short.

So to clear things up for you, Neal:

Subversion runs on your operating system's filesystem. Subversion
does not require you to run a custom filesystem.
