I'm still puzzled as to why people don't seem to want to consider my
suggestion of using URNs for this purpose. The major drawback to
using a URN is that it is not (currently, and for the forseeable
future) derefernceable. But no property names in Subversion need to
be. So what would the problem with
urn:svn:prop.name.here
be?
