Subject: Mailing list archives

Meta-question, possibly more applicable to Tigris in general than
Subversion:

I do my list-lurking in the web archives, because I want to avoid
adding another mailing list into my already stuffed inbox. It's
gradually dawned on my that the first 1800 messages in the archive are
grouped into pages of 200 messages each, while the most recent page
appears to contain over 2000 messages. That seems to sort of choke most
browsers while they render the page, and there's a lot of back-and-forth
between that page and the individual messages when I'm reading.

Something wrong with the archive software, or is the splitting a
manual process?

  Thanks,
  J. David Blackstone
