Meeting about changesets in Chicago, Jan. 15-16

From: Karl Fogel <kfogel_at_galois.collab.net>
Date: 2001-01-03 00:02:35 CET

Anyone who wishes is welcome to attend a meeting in Chicago on the
subject of changesets & how Subversion might support them.

When: Monday, 15 Jan, evening; Tuesday, 16 Jan, morning & afternoon.
   Where: CollabNet Chicago office
          727 S. Dearborn, suite #611
          Chicago, IL 60637
          USA
          (312) 435-1292

The reason this is a physical meeting is that one or two experts are
able to be here then, and it's much higher bandwidth to talk about
such things in person. Discussion will happen on this list after the
meeting, but I wasn't going to waste a chance to talk face-to-face
about this with people who know the subject well. :-)

It's pretty definite that Jim Blandy, Greg Stein, Ben Collins-Sussman,
and I will all be there. While I can't offer to pay anyone's
expenses, please show up if you live in Chicago or are able to travel
here on your own.

Probably it's unavoidable that this email will touch off a disussion
of changesets, but personally I promise to ignore the topic until
after said meeting. We have enough mails about implementing the
*current* goals list without adding new ones. :-)
