Is it worth having the `ver' prefix in there?

I alway think of the path as a descending trail, starting from a
particular number in the version array. In that case

   http://www.lyra.org/repos/$svn/672/foo/bar.c

does just as well, and is a bit more readable (IMHO).

Also, I can't remember what the $svn is for, but there's a reason for
it, right?
