atomic commit of multi-folder changes vs. gui

Hi,
just an idea:

With WinCVS, as far as I know, one cannot select files in multiple folders for one single action like a cvs commit. This means that when I make a number of changes, then I need to go to all the folders separately and commit at least once per folder. The only other way would be to select a common root folder and cvs commit there, but that might include files that I did not want to include.

This is not a big deal since CVS commits are per-file anyway.

Subversion allows atomic, all-files-or-none, actions. To use this effectively with a GUI, it would be nice to be able to select files in multiple folders and to apply an action to such a set.

Idea: this could be fairly easy if the folder view (the left pane in WinCVS) contained not only folders, but also files as leaves in the tree. Since this makes the view very large, this might be an option of the view or in a different window.

Sincerely,
markus
