Sigh -- I'm sorry to keep doing this to y'all, but we're going to have
to move Milestone 2 again, to Thursday, Dec. 21st. I'll spare you the
gory details of exactly which other responsibilities are taking up
developers' time. Suffice it to say that more than one of us has been
assigned some non-Subversion work recently, and it became clear that
there simply won't be enough coding time to make the 7th.
These are temporary responsibilities, albeit urgent ones. After
they're finished, Subversion will once again be the main thing we
devote our time to.
In the meantime, development is not stopped, of course. The most
important changes for M2 will be in the network layer and filesystem,
where Greg, Jim and Branko are currently very active, though there
will also be changes in the client and working copy code (the area
that will suffer most from these temporary assignments). Patches,
suggestions, comments to the dev list, as usual.
