Static in theory should be fine -- if not, maybe I can help with the build
scripts.

Yup, both were planned.

For that matter, if anyone has particular opinions regarding WinCVS or any
other GUI CVS client (things you love, things you hate), drop your thoughts
into the list, so we can take them into account!
