Okay, I'll put it in for now.

But Greg S., if you think of a stronger reason to object to it, I
think we'd be on safe ground taking it out, so let us know right away
if that happens.

(Because we can just create version 2 of the license, the same as
version 1 except missing the retro clause, and change all the files to
use version 2. Then only the code that was under version 1, for
whatever short period of time, could be in danger. :-) )
