Personally, I think our config file should just be ONE REALLY BIG
integer. G�del-encoding is cool.

I think you are wrong. Configuration files should be encoded as
integers.

This will give the following advantages:

* easier for users to configure and read config files (most people
  have been taught to read and write integers since primary school);

* easier for programmers to manage these config files (many
  programmers know how to write software that manipulates integers);

* if other software have config files encoded as integers then you
  would not have to write config software specialised for a particular
  piece of software;

* configuring with standard tools for manipulating integers would be
  easier.

If anyone likes this idea please forward this message to other
developers. I think integers in config files would make it a lot
easier for both developers and users.
