I've never seen it become a problem for any project, and we certainly
aren't the most complicated autoconf-using project by any means (and
never will be), even among the projects which don't use config.h. The
system limits are pretty big.

(Just to repeat myself, I don't really care either way; I was just
mentioning my personal preference and reasoning in the previous
message.)
