I disagree. There are a lot of people out there (including me, sometimes
:-) who prefer to have unchanged working copies read-only, and
explicitly start a change with `cvs edit'.

(I'll post a longer message about this and other "wishlist" topics that
I've been working on, by the way, hopefully this week.).
