Yep. Make it all configurable, but in any event a suggestion
was made that ought to address all the issues: when the commit
command is issued, an editor/viewer is brought up that lets
you explicitly see what files are being added, deleted and
modified. If there is anything that you do not want in the
commit, then edit it out from the view file. :-).
