Rename handling

This may be a question that has already been amply covered elsewhere, but I don't recall a rationale discussoin on this point in the design document.

Many people have argued (to me) that there is an advantage to using filenames in the repository that correspond to filenames in the user's working tree. If all else fails, you have some hope of reconstructing a tree this way if the CM system goes out to lunch.

I am curious if this practice will be followed in SVN, and if so, which "name" is considered current for this purpose? In particular, if distinct renames are done on distinct branches, what will the name of the object in the repository be?

Thanks
