Nah. That is somewhat bogus.

You either have entries on the directory entries, or on each file and
directory. The two are equivalent. From the DAV standpoint, you have props
on the files and dirs. The vsn num props are handled by the /$svn/ver/
collection.

IMO, the SVN design needs to be corrected.
