Some quick notes:

- In doing an 'update' GET, how does the client specify the local
version of the file it has, so the server can return the appropriate
diff? Have you looked at the HTTP delta-encoding draft for doing this?

- nit: the examples section of 'committing a change set' uses the
/dirX/dirY URIs, should probably have a trailing slash since these are
collections.
