RE: Could not read chunk size

I have been getting more the following reports from our users. We are
currently at the subversion 1.6.6 level for our server and running
apache 2.2.12 with the subversion modules. I have searched the web for
this error but, nothing concrete really stands out. Can someone point me
in the right direction to solve this error or debug further. I also
should note that the server side is 64bit with the clients being 32bit.

RA layer request failed

svn: REPORT of '/repos/WebAppsDB/!svn/vcc/default': Could not read chunk
size: connection was closed by server (http://sssdev1:3300)

Don't take this as an authoritative answer, but I have seen the "chunk
size" and "chunk delimiter" errors as well and my guess is it's a
network issue. What bugs me is that Subversion apparently isn't robust
enough to retry/continue the operation automatically. I don't know
whether there are Apache settings or anything that control this but I
would like to know if there are. I'd also like to know if this sort of
issue will go away or at least get better with Subversion 1.7.0.
