Please read the “Subversion book” on backups. Rsync is not an acceptable backup method.

You should use either “svnsync” or “hotbackup.py” which is located in the source directory.

i need to do rsync from my svn repo folder in linux to our windows backup server to backup, i am using cygwin to do that. everything was ok but i couldn't see the folders and all, do i need to install svn in windows too?
