svn: Working copy path 'folder/build' does not exist in repository

We are using Subversion 1.5.5

We are trying to merge our trunk into one of our branches.

We are running into a working copy path does not exist error.

I have noticed that others have reported this error but I could not find
any resolution at tigris.

We really need to understand what we have done to cause this issue. Any
guidance would be greatly appreciate.

svn merge --accept postpone http://server/svn/main@HEAD . > merge.txt
svn: Working copy path 'folder/build' does not exist in repository

thanks,
-reagan
