API questions

Hi, all

I have some questions concerning the API:

- Switch User - is it possible to issue a call in the svn client, that would trigger the challenge authentication mechanism?

- With client 1.7, will the backwards compatibility of the SVN API persist (as it did up to now)?

- Which is the function we have to call in order to manually update a local working copy from 1.6 to 1.7?

- Is it possible to move a folder structure using svn_client_move? What happens to the subversion meta data (.svn folders)?
